What is the Primal Age?

THE PRIMAL AGE CHRONICLES: FOAMERS is out now!

The Primal Age is a term coined to fit the time period that would follow the fall of a civilization such as our own. In the past, there have been instances of Dark Ages and other similar setbacks, but with such a reliance on advanced technology, a crash of the grid would set mankind farther back than any previous retrogression. When modern society is faced with the challenge of a primitive existence, people find themselves in the Primal Age.

In The Primal Age Chronicles, this is a future in which the country has collapsed due to a Feline Flu virus and its consequent faulty vaccine. Only persons between the ages of 16 and 35 seem unaffected by the Flu. The rest are dropping like flies. The vaccine is rushed through without proper study, and 4 out 5 of the vaccinated have turned into ape-like monsters. Worse than these, are the survivors. Many of the people left untouched by Flu or vaccine have found their way to evil, as they plunder a world without law. With no power, no government, and no help, a group of disaffected twenty-somethings must do whatever it takes to stay alive.

Wow! Your novel intro is compelling. I see this as a movie! Have you thought of scripting it? Don’t know the first thing about it, personally, but this seems to have a lot of the necessary ingredients. Good luck with it!

In the back of my head I’ve always seen it as a film, and just recently started work on the screenplay version as well. However, adaptation is never an easy process, even when it is my own work.

Well, keep me in the loop! You’re building the right social platform to spread the word about it. It has M-O-V-I-E written all over it!
