Pay attention to the news

Don’t spend hours and hours watching news, but be well informed of what is going on in the world. Watch for anything that could lead to the Primal Age. Pay attention to stories involving economic turmoil, war, flu strands, and anything about the reanimation of the dead. Note how close news stories involving such things are to you and your relocation. Create a code system to use to quickly inform your team of the state of readiness.
