Cameras

I know there are a lot of issues with the idea of a camera. It requires batteries, which require charged, which requires power. However, with the abundance of portable solar chargers, and other forms of renewable energy sources, this is less of an issue than it would have been just a year ago. The reason I suggest having a camera is the same reasons as yesterday’s tip. Memory is flawed. By taking a picture of important locations, or potential places to explore, you can capture them as they are, not how you remember them, for briefing the rest of your group. They come with drawbacks, but they are more accurate than your memory or writing. Small details can lead to huge disasters.
