Survival Tip #93

Survival Tip #93

Carabiner and Rope

Quick tip of the day. A ten feet of rope with a reliable carabiner on either end. With this set up you can use the contraption for just about anything from the obvious climbing, to locking up a gate. It is a great piece of all purpose use, and can be stored in a relatively small space.  Be sure the rope has the strength to hold you and a pack, and that carabiners are strong as well. Novelty carabiners that are give aways often aren’t durable enough to support much weight, and are best used for attaching things to your pack.
