Never Look a Gift Horse in the Mouth

As the saying goes it is wrong to look a gift horse in the mouth because it shows disrespect to the person who gave the gift. Look how well that worked out for the Trojans. Look at this awesome gift our enemies left us. Let’s take it inside our walls and get hammered. We all know how that ended.

Whenever someone gives something away for free there is always a reason they are. I’m trying to help my mom give away a piano. She’s giving it away for free because it takes up a lot of space and no one in the family plays anymore. She is giving it away to make her own life easier.

This holds true in the Primal Age even more so than presently. When life comes down to surviving at any cost, be leery of anything that is free. If another group is leaving a person with your group, it probably means their is an issue with said person. If they give you food for nothing in exchange, I would be worried about being poisoned. You look at that gift horses teeth and you figure out exactly why someone is giving it away so you don’t do something so stupid you end up in history books.
