Never Root

Now I’m not saying you shouldn’t have a solid fortress, but you should never consider any location as more than temporary. You should know where you will go next if your fortress is compromised. Obviously you shouldn’t keep a second location fully stocked unless you have enough people that you can set up multiple colonies, but you should have enough hidden there so that if you are forced to relocate your life won’t be in jeopardy. Think of every place as temporary and you will prevent someone giving their life for a location. No location is worth a life. Always be ready to move, and know where you are heading next.
